Nov Loved this cozy cabin tucked among the trees with the river rushing by. Clean, comfy and a great vibe. Breakfast at the high top with the windows open in the mornings was a great way to start the day, hearing the river, smelling the fresh morning forest air and hearing the birds chirp. Matt S. Everything about this place was amazing from the personal hot tub to our almost private river beach. The house is in pristine shape and actually as beautiful as the pictures. Our only problem was that we had to leave.

Kelsey M. Oct My only complaint is the hot tub.

Everything else was perfect, just a bummer to be excited about hot tub and let down twice. Manager response: We are glad you loved your stay.

We apologize for the issues you experienced with the hot tub. We wish you would have called us during your stay. Catherine H. Sep This is my second time staying here and it was great! The trails are super cool and the ancient forest is a wonderful thing to see! Philip B. The toilet chain broke inside the tank and I called the number of the reservation. Agent put in a ticket and the local property manager called me within a couple hours.

Unfortunately, the local property manager never got anyone to show up so I fixed the issue myself. No instructions on where additional firewood is located. House had spider webs on the living room ceiling and dead spiders on the shower ceiling. The freezer needs to be defrosted since it had about an inch or more of ice inside. The positives were the river off the wrap around porch and the comfortable bed. Manager response: Thank you for your review, Philip. We apologize we were unable to get someone out right away to re-hook the chain the toilet and are glad to see you were able to get it sorted.

We will look into where the break in communication occurred to avoid this in the future. We do provide 10 pieces of wood per reservation. We appreciate you choosing Vacasa for your stay.

Iliana P. We have stayed here 3 times now and love it every time.

Love the new picnic table in the yard overlooking the river, beautiful lunch spot. We found the bed and bedding very comfortable. Cleanup after guests was sufficient, but needs a more thorough top to bottom cleaning periodically. Karen and Martha M. Aug Laurel S. Simple, small cabin in the woods next to the river. Sleeps 2 comfortably. The living room furniture is not comfortable for sleeping or sitting, but we spent most of our time outside since the weather was nice. Kitchen has the basics but not enough for cooking elaborate meals.

I would return! Tyler V. Jul Everything was perfect about this place for a quick weekend getaway for my partner and I. Situated right on the river the home has its own private swimming hole for daytime shenanigans and a hot rub for relaxing in the evening. Peter H. John F. Jun The natural surroundings were breathtaking.

Market Report for Washougal WA Home Sales

The cabin was well kept and had all of the comforts of home. We really enjoyed cooking our meals while taking in the serene sounds of the river and the beauty of the rainforest. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Sean O. Jan This little cottage was everything we wanted! It was a wonderful location right on the river, a cozy home with some nice updates, well maintained, and the hot tub was perfect on a starry night.

Our only issue was the late 4 p. In the fall and winter months, there's no more light to explore before it gets dark. Jaime D. Dec Eva's Cottage is tucked between the river and tall gorgeous trees. I really appreciated that there were marked trails just steps from the front door. On my last day at the cottage, I took a soak in the hot tub and watched a bald eagle fly over the river. With music and TV off, you can hear the river from inside the cottage - so peaceful. Will definitely book again in the future. Maria F. Jeanette E K. Matthew W. My wife and I brought our 7-month old baby with us for a weekend getaway.

We had high expectations for a cozy weekend by the river, but Eva's Cottage was above and beyond perfect. The fireplace was warm, and beautifully crafted, the bed was very comfortable, and the river was pristine. Although another cabin is not far away, the cottage has lots of privacy, and the hot tub was an added bonus.

Second, the house itself is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is nice, the hot tub is great and private , and there are some choice spots to sit back and take in the forest and the river. My only minor complaint is that the TV is tiny and the blu-ray player didn't work when I was there, but given how satisfied I was with the overall experience, I still think the place deserves a five-star rating. Mark R. Martha M. We love this cottage! This was our second time, and it's always just lovely. It's small, but beautifully appointed. Natasha W. Eva's cottage was amazing.

Perfect spot by the river to enjoy the beauty surrounding. Loved the kitchen and could not get enough of the view through all the windows. Great spot to get away.
